Backstroke drill high armpit

The idea of the drill during the recovery phase is to improve the coordination and rotation of the body, and the high position of the body with the armpit above water and the arm straight. This is Drill similar to L-drill at Backstroke


Lie on your back with your arms straight above your head and start doing backstroke kicks. During the recovery phase, keep your hand straight and relaxed


For every 6 kicks lift your arm up until 90° relative to the surface of the water, after making two-time lifting the arm with the armpit up and down to adjust the position of the arm. Every 12 kicks we make a rotation of the body and change the arms
